The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS) is offering international scholarships at King Mongkut’s University of Technology. Scholarships are available to pursue masters and PhD degree programs for the academic year 2017-2018.

The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS) is a public-private partnership established with strong support from the Thai and German government for engineering education, technology, innovation, and business development in Thailand and South-East Asia.

 

Scholarship Type

Scholarships are available for pursuing masters and PhD program.

Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.

List of Subjects:
For this academic year, TGGS offers 4 Master of Engineering Programs (International Program) as follows: Chemical and Process Engineering (CPE), Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (MAE), Material and Production Engineering (MPE) and Electrical and Software Systems Engineering (ESSE)
For this academic year, TGGS offers 3 Doctor of Engineering Programs (International Program) as follows: Electrical and Software Systems Engineering (I-DEEE), Mechanical Engineering (I-DEME) and  Chemical and Process Engineering (I-DCPE).

 

There are full and partial scholarships available.

 

 

Applicant Eligibility Criteria

Master of Engineering Programs (International Program)

  • Bachelor degree in engineering awarded by an internationally recognized university
  • Good reading, writing and communication skills in English
  • To graduate, a minimum score of TOEFL 525, IELTS 5.5 or equivalent is required

Doctor of Engineering Programs (International Program)

  • Master degree in engineering awarded by an internationally recognized university
  • Good reading, writing and communication skills in English
  • To graduate, a minimum score of TOEFL 550, IELTS 6.0 or equivalent is required

Nationality: Citizens of all nationalities can apply for these scholarships.

KMUTNB-TGGS Scholarship
TOEFL (Paper Based): 500+
TOEFL (Computer Based): 173+
TOEFL (Internet Based): 59+
IELTS (Academic Module): 5.0+
CU-TEP (120 Scores): 59+
K-STEP: Not less than 60% of total score

DAAD Scholarship
TOEFL (Paper Based): 550+
IELTS (Academic Module): 6.0+
