Ideas Matter Doctoral Fellowships which supports the research of young academics in the region focusing on women, technology and entrepreneurship.

The Ideas Matter Doctoral Fellowship is offered by WARA in partnership with The MasterCard Foundation. The USD$4,000 grants will allow recipients to solve some of the most trenchant health and economic challenges facing Africa today.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must have their previous degree.

English language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

  • Statement explaining how your research will contribute to creating solutions to critical development needs in Africa (500 words or less)
